Liverpool recorded a 1-1 draw in the Premier League encounter at the Emirates Stadium during the weekend.

The result has been mostly lamented by the Reds manager Jurgen Klopp and the majority of the players especially for Sadio Mane whose goal was cancelled and Virgil van Dijk who also had some missed chances in the game.

For the Gunners, it is a mixed feeling of good and bad as they would have preferred a win at home but for the fact that they came from behind, they have since accepted their fate knowing that they would have lost all three points.

However, the Reds seem to be the main victim knowing that the two points dropped gave Manchester City a breathing space as league leaders having won their game to lead by two points.

The current form by the Pep Guardiola side is one that could last longer than expected which puts them in right part for the title win for the second consecutive time.

Feelers are that there is no assurance that Liverpool will be able to regain the 2 points gap between their title rivals which hints that another trophy-less season looms for the Anfield side.

Meanwhile, it has been established at the club by the management and the coach to ensure that a trophy is won this season.
