Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri has made a decision not to send Ruben Loftus-Cheek away from the club on loan as he hints that the player remains in his plan.

The 22-year-old was unable to get a starting role at the Stamford Bridge last season which forced him out on loan to Crystal Palace where he was able to secure more appearances and was blessed with a call-up to the England national team.

His return back to his owners have not done him any good as he is yet to get reasonable number of games under the Italian coach which sparked speculations that he would be sent out on a second loan spell.

Sarri, therefore, made it clear that the player is not leaving and will be given more opportunity in subsequent games.

The former Napoli boss stated that he was able to hand the England international four appearances in the month of October and he will do more this month because the player has improved and is making his impact at the club.

The Napoli boss praised Loftus-Cheek for having the right mentality, the speed and good physical characteristics to help him succeed as a player at the West London club.
