Manchester United substitute Marcus Rashford struck late to give his side a slim 2-1 win at in-form Bournemouth in what was a Matchweek 11 clash in the Premier League.

The home side started the game on the front foot and could have taken the lead inside the first ten minutes but Bournemouth winger Ryan Fraser was denied by David De Gea in goal for the Red Devils.

Junior Stanislas then wasted a glorious chance to put the hosts 1-0 up before he atoned for his error by setting up teammate Callum Wilson for the first goal of the game in the 11th minute.

In-form Anthony Martial equalised for the Red Devils on 35 minutes off a delightful cutback from Alexis Sanchez who started upfront for the visitors.

Martial has now scored five goals in his last four league games for Manchester United.

The former Premier League winners were fortunate to go into the halftime interval level.

Manchester United were much improved in the second half and they got their reward in added time when the aforementioned Rashford scored the winning goal from close range.

With the late victory, the Red Devils have now won three of their last four games in the Premier League.
