Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been named Whoscored’s player of the month for October.
Whoscored is a popular statistics website that provides player ratings for various leagues including the Premier League.
The ratings are based on the statistical analysis of the performance of each player.
According to the ratings from whoscored via dailycannon, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang finished as the best player in October with 8.14.
In-form Manchester United forward Anthony Martial came second with 8.10 ahead of Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley.
Aubameyang has been in sensational form since he signed for the Gunners in a club record transfer from German Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund.
North London giants Arsenal paid £57m to secure his signature during the penultimate transfer window in January.
The former Saint Etienne star has scored 19 goals in 27 appearances.
Auba, as he’s fondly called, netted five Premier League goals in three matches (one start and two substitute appearances).
Those goals took him to the top of the Premier League goalscoring chart alongside Chelsea forward Eden Hazard with seven goals.
Aubameyang came on as a substitute to score two goals in the 5-1 win over Fulham before repeating the same feat in the 3-1 win over Leicester City.
He was also on target during last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace.
