Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has mocked his own penalty run-up after he posted a social media clip to poke fun at his technique.
The 25-year-old is in the spotlight once again for his penalty technique after missing from 12 yards out during the weekend’s Premier League clash at home to Everton.
After the match, the France World Cup winner spoke about the need to change his penalty taking technique.
The Red Devils were awarded a penalty after Everton midfielder Idrissa Gueye was adjudged to have brought down in-form French winger Anthony Martial in the box.
Pogba stepped up to take the penalty which was saved by the Everton goalkeeper, Jordan Pickford.
The former Juventus midfielder scored the rebound from the saved spot kick to give his side a first half lead.
The aforementioned Martial added a second goal in the 49th minute off an assist from compatriot Pogba to give Manchester United a healthy lead.
The visitors were handed a lifeline in the 77th minute when Manchester United defender Chris Smalling fouled Everton forward Richarlison in the box.
Gylfi Sigurdsson scored from the spot for his fifth goal of the season to halve the deficit for the Toffees but the home side held on to take the three points via a 2-1 win.
