Liverpool get befitting deal done and dusted

Liverpool are set to get richer with the signing of a new deal with the Lavazza Group to make them the official coffee partner in the United Kingdom.

The deal will, therefore, ensure the 54,000 Liverpool supporters in the Anfield will have access to the Italian coffee to buy on each matchday within the period of the deal.

Speaking after the signing of the deal, Liverpool managing director and chief commercial officer Billy Hogan stated that the reason why the club decided to partner with the company is the passion and excellence the company has had over the years with its coffee which to him is the same way the Reds operate with the club.

Also speaking David Rogers, Lavazza UK managing director, commercial expressed his delighted with the deal and the company’s presence in the United Kingdom.

He stated that the move with Liverpool will help the company reach out to its consumers more easily especially to the club’s fans.

The deal is supposed to commence on November 1 with sales expected to begin that day at all Anfield stadium hospitals boxes, lounges and bars.

Meanwhile, the financial implication of the deal was not made public as both sides decided to keep mute on it.
