Chelsea defender David Luiz has stated that he likes to play for big clubs just for a reason which he expects to gain at the Stamford Bridge.

The West London club are still unbeaten in all competitions and are only two points behind league leaders Manchester City, making them title contenders in the third position in the Premier League table.

Luiz said the development for his side have been gradual and that has reflected on the pitch with every game but noted that it would soon be visible for all to see.

The Brazilian international noted that he is not surprised at the big change in the club’s style of play and result stating that it boils down to hard work from his teammates and the manager.

He said is lucky to be playing in a big club like Chelsea after leaving French side Paris Saint Germain.

Meanwhile, manager Unai Emery has been praised for turning things around at the club with his [possession type of football which has helped to bring the best out of the players.
