‘We are happy to let you go’ – Arsenal to star player

Premier League giants Arsenal will reportedly allow defender Laurent Koscielny to leave the club for Spain ahead of the January transfer window.
According to a report from teamtalk via hitc, the North Londoners are happy to let the 33-year-old join Spanish champions Barcelona when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.
Koscielny has been linked with a move to Spain despite the fact that he has not made a single appearance for the Gunners this season due to an Achilles problem.
The recently retired French international centre back is back in full training after recovering from the aforementioned injury.
The Arsenal captain sustained the injury during the second leg of the Gunners’ semifinal clash with Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid in the Europa League last season.
Without him in the team for the game in April , the Gunners lost 1-0 to Diego Simeone’s team thereby losing 2-1 on aggregate after both sides played out a 1-1 draw in the first leg.
The report further claimed that Arsenal manager Unai Emery is happy with his defensive options and he’s willing to let Koscielny seal a dream move to Barcelona.
The trio of Sokratis Papasthathopoulos, Rob Holding and Shkrodan Mustafi have played in the centre back positions under Unai Emery since he became the Arsenal manager in the summer.
