Premier League giants Manchester United are ready to spend a whooping sum of £60m in the bid to prise Leicester City defender Harry Maguire away from the Foxes when the transfer window reopens in January.
The 25-year-old was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United during the summer.
The Red Devils had two bids knocked back by Leicester City for the former Hull City and Sheffield United centre back.
According to a report from the Metro, Manchester United are convinced that they will get their man during the upcoming transfer window in the New Year.
Manchester United believe they were late in making a move for Maguire during the last transfer window and that ultimately led to a failed bid.
Harry Maguire was one of several centre backs linked with the Red Devils in the summer.
Other defenders like Diego Godin of Atletico Madrid and Uruguay, Jerome Boateng of Bayern Munich and Germany, Toby Alderweireld of Tottenham Hotspur and Belgium were also linked with a summer move to Manchester United.
Without a new centre back, the Red Devils have started the season poorly under manager Jose Mourinho.
Manchester United have won just four of their first nine league games in this campaign.
