Arsenal legend Paul Emerson has written his former side off in the coming Premier League clash against Liverpool.

According to him, Liverpool will dominate in the game and defeat his former side as he would not be carried away with the fine form and rich record of the North London side this season.

He described the Gunners as a very fortunate team to have gone 10 games win without a defeat and a draw but noted that it would not be the same story when they clash with the Reds.

Emerson is still not convinced Arsenal can defeat Liverpool and Tottenham, as he argues that it would be a shock to him if Liverpool does not defeat Arsenal in their coming game at the Emirates.

According to him, the supremacy of the Arsenal team cannot be stamped at the moment because some of its star players lack the consistency to drive the team.

The former Gunners, therefore, argue that the best the current form of his former side can do is to help them for a Champions League qualification next season.

However, Arsenal look forward to extending their winning streak to 11 against Sporting CP in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
