Pundit Believes Ozil Needs Two Ingredients To Be World Best
Spanish football expert Guillem Balague has told Arsenal playmaker Mesut Ozil what he needs to do to be regarded as one of the world’s best players again.
As reported by caughtoffside, Guillem Balague believes that the German playmaker needs two major ingredients for him to be considered as one of the elites again.
According to him, the 2014 World Cup winner needs consistency and the right mentality.
Mesut Ozil is currently playing in one of his best Arsenal spells since he joined the club for a then Gunners’ record fee of around £42.4m from Champions League holders Real Madrid in 2013.
He has scored four goals and provided an assist in nine games under new manager Unai Emery who has been able to get the best out of him since he signed a three-year contract as a replacement for former boss Arsene Wenger.
Ozil played his best game of the new season on Monday as he shone in the Gunners’ 3-1 win over Leicester City at the Emirates Stadium.
The former Real Madrid and Werder Bremen star was the Arsenal captain on the night and he went on to produce a sublime finish for the Gunners’ equaliser on the stroke of halftime before providing an assist for one of the two second half goals scored by substitute Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
