Liverpool, Arsenal on red alert following reports from Barcelona

Liverpool have been placed on alert in their pursuit of Barcelona forward Ousmane Dembele who is set to be sold in January according to reports coming from Spain.

The Frenchman had a big money move to join the Spanish side from Borussia Dortmund but has yet to establish himself with good performances. He is obviously not in the plans of the coach.

A report according to Don Balon says the World Cup winner has not interested Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, hence they have given the management the signal to have him leave the club.

The report also claims that the Argentine and the Uruguayan are responsible for why manager Ernesto Valverde have always played Rafina ahead of the Dembele.

However, Liverpool are believed to be monitoring the situation at Nou Camp and will not hesitate to make a move for the player. Although, they face competition from Arsenal

The Gunners had made an inquiry about the availability of the player in the summer window.

Dembele had started the season on a good note but he has faded with more games and he is looking unconvincing for his manager who could drop him on the bench again for Sunday’s El Clasico clash against Real Madrid.
