Manchester United legend Paul Scholes has given a brutal verdict of his former club under manager Jose Mourinho in the aftermath of their Champions League defeat at the hands of Italian Serie A giants Juventus.
The Red Devils were convincingly beaten 1-0 by their guests at Old Trafford and the former Manchester United midfielder was far from impressed with what he saw.
Scholes spoke about Jose Mourinho and his team while he was on BT Sport via the Daily Express.
According to him, there has been no improvement under Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho since he was appointed in 2016 and that Juventus were a class above their hosts.
The Manchester United Academy graduate further revealed that Juventus could win the Champions League this season.
Argentine forward Paolo Dybala was the hero for the Old Lady after he netted the only goal of the game in the 17th minute off a pass from Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo who was making a return to Old Trafford for the second time since he secured a world record transfer fee of £80m to Real Madrid in 2009.
The five-time Ballon d’or winner was part of the Real Madrid team that won 2-1 at Old Trafford during the 2012/13 Champions League season.
