Man United In Pole Position To Sign Chelsea Winger – Report
Manchester United are reportedly the favourites to sign Nigerian winger Victor Moses from Premier League rivals Manchester when the January transfer window reopens.
According to a specific report from the Daily Express, the Red Devils are the bookmakers’ favourites to sign the recently retired Super Eagles star ahead of the upcoming transfer window in the New Year.
The report further claimed that other Premier League sides like Crystal Palace, Everton, Leicester City and newly promoted side Wolverhampton Wanderers are also interested in putting an end to his misery under the Maurizio Sarri regime at the club.
Victor Moses has been on the fringes of the first team at Chelsea since Sarri replaced compatriot Antonio Conte in the summer.
The former West Ham United and Liverpool player was previously a major part of the Chelsea team that won the 2016/17 Premier League title under Conte.
He also featured prominently for the Blues as they won last season’s FA Cup title via a 1 – 0 victory over rivals Manchester United.
The FA Cup final proved to be the final game for Antonio Conte who was sacked in the summer with one year left on his Blues deal.
Since the Italian tactician’s Chelsea exit, Victor Moses has found it hard to break into the team under new manager Maurizio Sarri.
