Liverpool defender Trent Alexander-Arnold has stated that his side should not be written off despite struggling in their previous game.

Liverpool suffered a 1-0 defeat to Napoli in their last Champions League game and struggled to deliver a good performance despite winning 1 – 0 against Huddersfield in their last Premier League game at the weekend.

Manager Jurgen Klopp had decried the performance of the team in the game stating that they had lost their organisation but were only saved by the goal scored by Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah.

Liverpool had started on a high this season which brought them same points with league leaders Manchester City but are relegated to second place as a result of goal difference.

However, the England fullback lamented that his side have yet to hit the form that got them to the Champions League finals that season but maintained that though it has been frustrating, they would find it soon.

According to him, the season is still young which gives them enough time to adapt and pick up their good form knowing that they have got the full potentials to do more.

He added that other teams need not to worry as they are focused on improving and would bounce back to give everyone a shock.
