Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has opted for a rival player as his best Premier League star in the new campaign.
The France World Cup winner made his choice in an interview with popular English TV channel Sky Sports via thesportsman.
According to him, Chelsea forward Eden Hazard has been the best player in the Premier League this season.
Hazard has light up the Premier League this season and his performances have propelled Chelsea to the top three spots on the table.
The Belgian international star has been sensational which is in stark contrast to his average outings for the Blues under former manager Antonio Conte in the last campaign.
After an average 2017/18 season, Eden Hazard got back to his best at this summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.
He was one of the best performers at the tournament as the former Lille forward led his Belgium team to a third-place finish in Russia.
His form has continued into the new campaign and he has emerged as the leading scorer in the Premier League with seven league goals in seven starts and two substitute appearances.
His goal tally includes a hattrick against newly promoted side Cardiff City earlier this season.
Eden Hazard was rewarded for his performances in the new campaign with the Premier League player of the month award for September.
