Chelsea have got reasons to worry following the reported back injury suffered by star player Eden Hazard in the game against United at the Stamford Bridge on Saturday noon.

The Belgium international had completed the game that ended in a 2-2 draw but emerging reports reveal that he woke up on Sunday morning with a severe back pain which affected his movements.

Hazard is believed to have been affected by the no nonsense marking given to him by United’s Nemanja Matic and Ashley Young in the game. It would be recalled that the Red Devils duo were booked in the game.

Belgium international has now become a doubt for the Blues’ Europa League encounter with Bate Borisov on Thursday evening and another trip to Burnley on Sunday.

This is expected to be a major setback to the Maurizio Sarri’s bid to contend for the Premier League title knowing the role of the player in the past games.

The West London side have been warned to secure a replacement for the Belgium man as his absence could cost the team their title bid with strikers Alvaro Morata and Olivier Giroud not scoring goals.

However, Sarri will hope on the current form of Ross Barkley who had rescued them against Chelsea to continue until Hazard returns to full fitness.
