Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will now have nothing to worry about after the news that Sadio Mane is back from injury and fit to play.
This is a boost to the German manager whose side will face Red Star Belgrade this week.
The Senegal international had injured his thumb while on international break which ruled him out of Liverpool’s 1-0 win over Huddersfield at the weekend.
The Mane news remains a big one for Klopp who has had reasons to worry about during the international break with his players, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah injured but returned.
However, Mane is back and could be favoured by manager Jurgen Klopp to have a starting role in the Champions League game following reports that the German manager seeks to rotate his squad.
Liverpool will face Cardiff at the weekend after the Champions League clash before travelling to London the following week, where they will play Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium.
Klopp hopes to bounce back with a win within the week after a 1-0 defeat suffered in the hands of Napoli in Italy.
The Reds boss has stated hinted on his wish to win the Premier League or any other title this season so as to confirm himself as a big coach who deserves the accolade.
True reason Barcelona are attracted to Olivier Giroud
Emerging reports claim that Spanish La Liga giants Barcelona are still interested in the signature of English Premier League outfit Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud in this January winter transfer window.
Barcelona have been linked with a number of attackers as they wish to add more strength to their attack knowing that the Uruguay international Luiz Suarez is alone in the attack and needs a backup.
French forward Ousmane Dembele is now injured and will be left out of the team until another two weeks which makes it necessary for the Blaugrana to add more players to their attack before the end of the month.
The Spanish La Liga boss Ernesto Valverde is reportedly willing to do all in his powers to bring Olivier Giroud to the Nou Camp before the end of this window as he has identified him as a player with top quality.
The sting interest in the former Arsenal player is coming when he is in a goal drought and failing to meet up to manager Maurizio Sarri’s expectation at the Stamford Bridge.
So far this season, Olivier Giroud has been able to score just 5 goals with the 25 appearances he has got under his belt but that will not deter Barcelona from making a move for him.
Sporting Lisbon are now very close to signing Rafa Camacho
Sporting Lisbon are reportedly on the verge of snapping up Liverpool youngster Rafa Camacho in this January winter transfer window.
The Reds have made it clear that the star player will not be leaving the club on a loan deal any more as they hope to keep him as an option so as to be able to keep the fight going through the second half of the season.
Liverpool are four points clear and are desperate to maintain the lead so as to clinch the Premier League title at the end of the season which is the reason why they seek the presence of the star defender so as to strengthen and have more options.
It is no longer news that the Reds are facing some injury crisis in their defence line up with Trent Alexander-Arnold ruled out while Nathaniel Clyne is no longer at the club as he has moved to Bournemouth on loan.
However, reports claim that Rafa Camacho is already aware of the interest from the Portuguese topflight and is willing to move that direction on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Meanwhile, Liverpool will do all it takes to convince him into staying at the club and not move on loan for now.
Chelsea close to agreeing deal for South American defender
Emerging reports claim that the English Premier League outfit Chelsea are now considering to hand a new deal to Brazilian international David Luiz before the end of the winter transfer window.
David Luiz’s contract with the West London side ends later this year which makes it important for the club to tie him down with a new deal so as not to lose him to other big sides.
The Brazilian is on the radar of a number of big sides including Benfica and Napoli as they are all keeping tabs with the hope of signing him if he is placed in the market.
The Blues had earlier showed reluctance in handing a new contract to David Luiz because of the doctrine of the club which refuses them to hand more than a year contract extension to players over 30-year-old.
David Luiz had insisted on a two-year contract extension but the Blues were ready to hand him only one which he refused late last year.
However, latest reports claim that David Luiz will be considered as the Blues are desperate to keep him, knowing that he is one of the best defenders in the English Premier League as well as in Europe.
Improve Your Squad With Quality Defenders, PL Winner Tells Unai Emery
Premier League title winner Joleon Lescott has urged Arsenal manager Unai Emery to strengthen his squad with quality defenders in the current transfer window.
The ex-Premier League defender advised Unai Emery about his Arsenal squad while he was on Sky Sports as monitored by the Daily Star.
Joleon Lescott was of the opinion that the Gunners’ problems are mainly defensive rather than attacking and that Unai Emery should boost his squad with quality defenders.
The ex-Manchester City, Everton and Sunderland left-back cum centre back went on to praise the Gunners’ attacking duo of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette before adding that he won’t want to face the two players as a defender.
Arsenal manager Unai Emery has admitted that the North Londoners can only sign players on loan despite the fact that his squad has been decimated with injuries especially on the defensive front.
The Gunners won’t be able to call on the services of both Rob Holding and Hector Bellerin for the rest of the season following respective serious knee injuries.
England defender Holding sustained the injury last month against top four rivals Manchester United, while Spanish right-back sustained the knee problem during the 2-0 win over Chelsea at the weekend.
Arsenal Target Denis Suarez Left Out Of Barcelona Squad For Sevilla Clash Amidst Transfer Links
Arsenal transfer target Denis Suarez has been left out of the Barcelona squad for tonight’s Copa Del Rey quarterfinal 1at leg clash away to Sevilla to further fuel rumours of a move to the Premier League with the Gunners.
The Barcelona midfielder has been repeatedly linked with a transfer to Arsenal with the Spaniard struggling to get playing time under manager Ernesto Valverde.
Blaugrana boss Valverde spoke about Denis Suarez during his pre-match press conference on Tuesday ahead of the Copa Del Rey clash against Sevilla.
Ex-Athletic Bilbao manager said that Denis Suarez could leave the club in the current January transfer window.
A possible Arsenal deal for Denis Suarez has been complicated by the lack of funds on the path of the Gunners.
Arsenal manager Unai Emery has already made it known that there’s no money to sign players this month.
The North London giants have to work with possible loan signings due to lack of funds.
Denis Suarez is keen to reunite with compatriot Unai Emery at the club having worked with him during his reign as the Sevilla manager.
Barcelona have already told Arsenal that they will only sanction a loan deal if the Gunners will secure his transfer permanently in the summer.

Ter Stegen Backs Barcelona Over Dembele Fine
Barcelona goalkeeper Marc Andre Ter Stegen has thrown his weight behind the Spanish champions after teammate Ousmane Dembele was heavily fined last month.
2018 World Cup winner Dembele was said to have been fined an amount of €100,000 after he turned up for training two hours late.
This happened just a day after the French international winger scored one of the goals to help Barcelona to a 4-0 win over Catalan rivals Espanyol.
Since his latest misdemeanor, Ousmane Dembele has recovered to produce his best form for Barcelona.
The former Rennes winger has scored three goals in his last two games (against Levante in the Spanish Copa Del Rey and Leganes in the Spanish La Liga.
Ter Stegen spoke about Dembele in a chat with German newspaper Sport Bild as he said that the club was right to punish his teammates for his poor punctuality and the 21-year-old will learn from his mistakes.
Ousmane Dembele has courted disciplinary problems at the club this season despite his superb form on the pitch in the colours of the Blaugrana.
He has become an important player for the Catalans since his big money move from German Bundesliga leaders Borussia Dortmund at the start of last season.
Man United Turn Down Arsenal Loan Bid For Eric Bailly
Three-time European champions Manchester United have rejected a loan bid from top four rivals Arsenal for one of their defenders.
According to the Daily Mail, North London giants Arsenal firmed up their long-term interest in Eric Bailly by proposing a loan bid for him but the Gunners were swiftly rebuffed by Manchester United.
Arsenal have previously been linked with a move for the Ivorian international centre back dating back to when Jose Mourinho was the Red Devils manager.
Eric Bailly was said to be one of the players that had an issue with the Portuguese tactician before he was sacked from his job last month.
The Ivorian defender was the first signing of the Mourinho era at Manchester United after his £30m transfer from Spanish La Liga club Villareal in the summer of 2016 shortly after the Portuguese manager was named the Red Devils boss.
He was a constant fixture in the Manchester United defence, whenever he’s not injured, until recently.
Bailly, 24, started the first two games of this season in the Premier League and has made just seven more appearances since then.
He has 18 months left on his contract at the club though Manchester United have the right to activate two additional years to take his time at the club to the summer of 2022.
Man United Renew Interest In Ivan Perisic
Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly revived their interest in Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic in the current transfer window.
According to the publication from Italian media outlet Gazzette dello Sport via the Daily Express, the Red Devils are one of two clubs keen to sign the Croatian World Cup star.
Ivan Perisic was a key performer for the Croatian national team following their run to the final of last summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia.
The 29-year-old played a major role as Croatia surprisingly reached the final of the tournament before they were beaten 4-2 by eventual winners France.
He has not been able to replicate the same form for Inter Milan this season upon his return to the team after his World Cup exertions with Croatia.
Manchester United are long-term admirers of Ivan Perisic and the Red Devils came close to signing him in the summer of 2017.
A swap deal involving Anthony Martial didn’t materialise as Inter Milan held out for more money thus leading to the collapse of the transfer.
Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid are the second team keen on signing Ivan Perisic with highly rated PSV Eindhoven winger Steven Bergwijn been linked up as a possible replacement for him by the Italians.
PSV Eindhoven Slaps €30m Asking Price On Man United Target Bergwijn
Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven have reportedly slapped a €30m asking price on one of their players in a bid to ward off interest from clubs like Premier League giants Manchester United.
According to the publication from insidefutbol, PSV Eindhoven won’t accept any transfer fee less than €30m for winger Steven Bergwijn.
The two-cap Dutch international has been attracting the interest of several European heavyweights including Manchester United and AC Milan.
Clubs like Inter Milan, Napoli and Manchester United have sent scouts to watch Steven Bergwijn in action for Dutch Eredivisie giants PSV this season.
The 21-year-old has been in superb form for PSV this term following a return of nine goals and eight assists in 17 league appearances.
His form has not gone unnoticed amongst the major European clubs with recent reports claiming that Italian Serie A club AC Milan made a loan bid to sign the winger this month.
It was revealed that the Italians made a loan bid for him with the option of making the deal permanent in the summer for €20m but those reports are not true according to the above mentioned publication.
Steven Bergwijn is likely to stay at PSV Eindhoven until the end of this season at least before weighing up his options in the summer.
