Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho will reportedly move for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic if Red Devils midfielder Paul Pogba leaves the club.

According to the report from renowned English news portal Daily Express, Mourinho will push for the Serbian international star if France World Cup winner Paul Pogba leaves the club when the transfer window reopens in the New Year.

The former FC Porto, Real Madrid and Inter Milan boss was in attendance to run the rule over Milinkovic-Savic during the international break.

Mourinho watched as Serbia secured a 2-0 victory over their hosts Montenegro courtesy a brace from Fulham striker Aleksandar Mitrovic.

Various media reports also claimed that the Manchester United manager assessed another transfer target, Fiorentina centre back Nikola Milenkovic who has been linked with a January move to the Premier League with the Red Devils.

On the constant transfer rumours linking Manchester United with his client, Milinkovic-Savic’s agent and former Chelsea striker Mateja Kezman insists that the 23-year-old midfielder is happy at the Italian capital club having just signed a new contract at Lazio.

Apart from Manchester United, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has previously been linked with a move to the Spanish La Liga with European champions Real Madrid who have started the new campaign poorly.
