Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has made claims for himself and other English players who will be involved in the Champions League later next week.

Henderson is of the opinion that players have been made to play three different styles of football in order to see out both club and international career.

The Reds are expected to battle it out with Red Star Belgrade at Anfield and the Reds skipper stated that the game will be a big challenge for his side that just played out a slim 1-0 win against Huddersfield on Saturday.

The England international explains that the style at the national team and its intensity is quite different from what is obtainable at the international level while there is another phase of it when playing in the Champions League.

According to him, all of the three commitments he has to go through and other members of the England squad make the challenge more intense in the quest to achieve silverware this season.

However, Henderson disclosed that the style and intensity obtainable in the Premier League have caught the attention of Gareth Southgate and would soon be adopted by the English team because of its uniqueness.

Liverpool will hope to return to winning ways in the Champions League after suffering a 1-0 to Napoli.
