Arsenal fans have demanded for the club to recall young forward Reiss Nelson from his loan deal in Germany after he netted twice on Saturday.
The 18-year-old broke into the Arsenal team under former manager Arsene Wenger in the last campaign before impressing further during pre-season ahead of this campaign under the guidance of the new Arsenal manager Unai Emery.
The England U21 star was then sent on a season-long loan deal to German Bundesliga outfit TSG Hoffenheim once their manager, Julian Nagelsmann expressed an interest in him.
He has been in sensational form for his new club since he made the move during this summer’s transfer window.
Reiss Nelson scored on his Hoffenheim debut against newly promoted side Fortuna Dusseldorf before netting the lone goal in a 2-1 home defeat to Eintracht Frankfurt shortly before the international break.
He went on to score a sensational freekick as he produced an impressive display to lead the England U21s to victory over Scotland.
The Arsenal Academy graduate then topped it up with a brace in the 3-1 win over Nurnberg in their German Bundesliga clash on Saturday.
Gunners fans could not hide their excitement on various social media portals as they called on the club to recall him from the loan spell in January.
He has scored four goals in four games and 163 minutes of football for Hoffenheim.
