Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has claimed not to be respected by the Chelsea fans when his side went visiting on Saturday at the Stamford Bridge.

The same scenario that played out against Newcastle almost repeated itself when United visited the Stamford Bridge as United came from a goal down to lead with two goals from Antonio Martial but the die minute equalizer by Ross Barkley ensured both teams shared points.

The earlier suggestion that the Portuguese manager will be respected and treated fairly by the fans because of their history did not happen as Mourinho claimed he was not respected.

He maintained that he had no regret over what happened at the Blues’ home and will repeat same performance anywhere he plays.

He stressed he was ready to give same performance in Milan, Porto and Madrid where he has managed before.

Mourinho was however involved in a faceoff with one of Maurizio Sarri’s backroom staff who he said had shown disrespect for his side. It took the intervention of the Italian manager and the final whistle that dispersed both parties.

All is not lost for Jose Mourinho who was able to add a point in the game his side were written off.
