Why Klopp is unhappy despite 1-0 win
Liverpool were able to manage a 1-0 win over Huddersfield on Saturday but that is not enough to make manager Jurgen Klopp happy.
Klopp’s side grabbed all three points but the manager looked frustrated all through the game as he showed his displeasure at his side’s performance on the field.
The Reds have now moved to second place behind Manchester City but share same points with the league leaders.
It was, however, a difficult game for the visiting team owing to the fight given by Huddersfield with 13 attempts on goal in the game.
In his reaction, Klopp admitted it was a good game for the home team but could not say same for his side despite winning. He added that it was obvious he was frustrated on the touchline because his side’s performances were poor.
The German manager said all the good things done by his side were destroyed by the last passes his men made which to him is unacceptable.
He noted that much work is needed to be done by the players to correct some of the faults in the game against Huddersfield.
However, the Reds were saved by Egypt international who seems to be returning to his best with the only goal of the game.
