Huddersfield manager David Wagner is less concerned about the lamentations Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp on players’ injury and lack of rest during the international break.
Klopp had condemned the international break and busy schedule of players especially with the introduction of the UEFA Nations League stating that it makes his players tired and unfit for club football.
The German manager went as far as describing the UEFA Nations League as “senseless” because of the damages it might have on the players.
Klopp’s fears have turn reality as he sweats over his key player who sustained injuries during their international duty with their country.
The likes of Saidio Mane, Mohamed Salah, Naby Kaita and Virgil van Dijk all suffered one degree of injury or the other with their country, making them doubts for Huddersfield game.
However, Wagner stated that he is unmoved by Klopp’s cry as he explains that it has become a habit of the German manager to complain each time there is an international break.
He stated confidently of his assurance that some of the players Klopp lamented on would be seen on the pitch of play.
The Huddersfield manager revealed that he has known the manager for a very long time and will not be surprised if he still pulls such stunts.
