Former Real Madrid President José Ramon Calderon has blasted Chelsea for what he described as keeping the player against his wish.
Real Madrid are strong suitors of the Belgium international and they wish to have him replace former star player Cristiano Ronaldo who had a world record move to Italian side, Juventus.
The Spanish side have struggled since the departure of the Portuguese star player and are bent on replacing him with the Blues playmaker.
The player had stated he will commit his future to the Stamford Bridge but hinted at his desire to move to Madrid as it has been his dream team when he was much younger.
In his reaction to the report that Hazard will be putting pen to paper, former Madrid President likens it to be ‘slavery’ of the player.
He is of the opinion that the player should be allowed to move having publicly made his mind known.
Calderon said it will be fantastic news for his former side to hear the player will not be staying at the Stamford Bridge as he noted that he could fall within the ranks of Barcelona star, Lionel Messi and Ronaldo.
Meanwhile, Eden has been the major strength of the Maurizio Sarri side which makes it difficult for them to release him.
Real Madrid’s fans would love what Hazard said when asked about his contract.
