Chelsea fans have not been happy with Alvaro Morata’s poor form this season and has been severally criticized.
The Spanish striker has admitted not being able to replicate his last season goalscoring form in the blues Jersey.
Morata had scored seven goals in seven games for Chelsea last season, giving hope to the club that former striker Ivory Coast striker, Didier Drogba has been replaced but the goals finally dried up.
However, the former Real Madrid striker confessed to be nursing an injury that has kept him underperforming.
He remains sorry that the fans had expected a lot from him having shown him, love, when he scores but that has not been the case in recent time.
According to him, he had played last season with pains so as to be worthy of selection into the Spanish national team for the World Cup.
But the 25-year-old attacker has promised the fans to return to his best and begin to fire goals again.
Admitting that it was difficult for him last season, Morata disclosed that he has learnt a lot that will help him return to his best this season for his side.
Morata stated that his emotions are now under control now that his kids have been born. He promised to pay more concentration to his club side career and help his team win again.
