Spanish national team manager Luis Enrique has praised his England counterpart Gareth Southgate for the way he has been able to adapt to his players by opting for a system that suits them.

Former Barcelona and AS Roma boss Luis Enrique spoke about Gareth Southgate in his pre-match press conference ahead of the UEFA Nations League meeting between Spain and England scheduled to take place at the Estadio Benito Villamarin in Seville on Monday night.

Luis Enrique also revealed that he’s a big admirer of Gareth Southgate before going ahead to wish him less luck when both sides meet in the crucial clash.

The Three Lions of England are under immense pressure ahead of the game due to their indifferent start to the UEFA Nations League.

They were beaten 2-1 at home by Spain in their opening game as goals from Saul Niguez and Rodrigo overturned the opener from Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford.

Manchester United Academy graduate Rashford was highly chastised for his wastefulness in front of goal in the second game against Russia 2018 World Cup finalists Croatia.

England picked up their first point with a goalless draw against the Croatians and another loss against Spain tonight will end any hopes of a final four appearance.
