North London giants Arsenal have been linked with Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Kai Havertz ahead of the next transfer window in January.
According to various reports, Arsenal and head of recruitment Sven Mslintat have identified the 19-year-old as a potential transfer target when the January transfer window reopens and are ready to make a bid for him.
Kai Havertz is an attacking midfielder and he has been a regular in the Bayer Leverkusen setup since he made his debut for the club in 2016.
He became the youngest player to feature for German Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen on October 15, 2016 at the age of 17 years and 126 days.
His first appearance came against Werder Bremen.
Kai Havertz also set another record in the same season after he became the club’s youngest ever goalscorer in the top flight at the age of 17.
His goal came against fellow German Bundesliga side VFL Wolfsburg.
The impressive performances he churned out in the colours of Bayer Leverkusen earned him an invitation to the German national team setup under Joachim Low.
He made his Germany debut as an 88th minute substitute against South American side Peru in September.
Apart from the Gunners, Kai Havertz has also been linked with a move to fellow Premier League giants Liverpool.
