Furio Valcareggi, an agent to Emanuele Giaccherini has described Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri as not being a good man owing to the treatment of his player while in charge at Chievo.

Giaccherini became a Napoli player after the Euro 2016 tournament and saw Serie A appearances in two seasons, forcing him to leave for another Italian side Chievo.

Furio Valcareggi accused the Chelsea boss of causing a lot of damages to his player’s career.

According to him the fact that the player was not given a lot of games by the former Napoli manager caused havoc to the player’s career.

He noted that Giaccherini was a very important player at the national team before playing under the Italian boss and the situation has since changed.

The agent stated that his player did not deserve the treatment given to him by Sarri and would have been the player he ought to be if he had remained with Carlo Ancelotti at Napoli.

Sarri has described life at Italy as the past as he is currently enjoying his spell at England with the Blues.

The Italian is praised to have brought changes to Chelsea with his style of play which has helped transform the Stamford Bridge side.

The player’s fans expect Sarri to feature against Southampton
