Liverpool legends Robbie Fowler and Graeme Souness have both disagreed on what looks like the time for their former side to finally win the Premier League title this season.

Sounesss had earlier stated that the current Liverpool squad are the best the club has ever had since 1990, tipping them to stand a better chance of winning the title this season.

But Fowler insisted that there is no free ride for the current team because they are yet to prove to be winners.

He made it clear that the current team cannot be regarded as the best since 1990 until they are able to win a trophy.

The Liverpool team under German manager Jurgen Klopp have been praise for the feats they have achieved from last season to date.

The Reds were in great form in the previous campaign, finishing in the second position on the log in addition to playing the Champions League final before being defeated by Real Madrid.

The Klopp’s team started this season with another interesting tempo and they are yet to be beaten in the league with 20 points in 8 games.

This has drawn applauds from pundits who think the Anfield side have never had it this good in a long time.
