Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is hopeful of winning trophies at the Anfield before quitting in the future.
Klopp admits he has introduced a style of play which has lifted the club but that won’t be it for him if he doesn’t win a title.
The German who completes three years at the club this week is yet to win silverware for the club having finished second in the Premier League last season and getting to the finals of the UEFA Champions League where he was defeated by Real Madrid.
Klopp says he doesn’t want to play good football and end up without trophies and that is why he is making efforts to ensure he wins something for this campaign.
The Reds boss admits he still has time to do something special at the club to achieve all that is available to be won but noted how difficult it is with other clubs also stepping up.
The German boasts to have the knowledge, experience and passion and he will not be leaving any of these out in his bid to achieve something at the club.
According to him, all his good work will certainly work out and hand him good results some day.
Liverpool have 20 points after 8 games in the Premier League after 8 games this season.
Man Utd In 3-Way Battle For Exciting Midfielder
Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly in a three-way battle to sign Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi this summer.
According to French media outlet Le Parisien, three clubs including Manchester United have contacted Italian Serie A champions Juventus about a possible move for French World Cup winner Matuidi.
Blaise Matuidi was an important player for France as they won the World Cup last summer.
He was a regular part of the starting XI for the French team under manager Didier Deschamps.
France won their second World Cup tournament in Russia last summer by beating fellow European nation Croatia 4-2 in their final clash.
Blaise Matuidi, 32, might struggle to retain his spot in the Juventus starting XI this season after the Italians recruited two more quality midfielders.
Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot have joined Juventus this summer.
Welsh international Ramsey has signed for the Old Lady on a free transfer after his contract with North London giants Arsenal ran out last month and the same applies to young French international star Rabiot who has also joined Juventus on a free transfer after his PSG contract expired.
Apart from Manchester United, former club PSG and Everton have also enquired about the availability of £20m-rated Blaise Matuidi this summer.
Man Utd Top Target Informs Teammates About Transfer Decision
Leicester City defender Harry Maguire has told his teammates about his next line of action this summer amidst the transfer rumours linking him with a move away from the club this summer.
According to experienced journalist Mark Ogden, Harry Maguire has told Leicester City teammates that he wants to leave the club.
It was further revealed that Manchester United are the only club in the running to sign the player but they have not been able to meet up with the financial demands from Leicester City.
Manchester United made a £70m bid for Harry Maguire earlier this summer and he was swiftly turned down by Leicester City who are holding out for £90m for their star defender.
Harry Maguire became a Leicester City player two years ago on the back of his spell at Hull City.
The 26-year-old signed for the Foxes from Hull City in a deal worth £17m during the summer of 2017.
Since his move to Leicester City, the defender has been a key player for the 2015/16 Premier League title winners.
Manchester United want to sign a new centre back this summer and they have just three weeks to do that before the transfer window closes in August.
58-year-old Manager Rules Out Man Utd Transfer For Midfielder
New Newcastle United manager Steve Bruce has revealed that he wants to keep wantaway midfielder Sean Longstaff at the club beyond this summer’s transfer window.
In a chat with journalists at the Premier League Asia trophy tourney, Steve Bruce said that his target is to keep Longstaff at the club despite the intense transfer rumours linking him with a move to Manchester United.
Steve Bruce is the new Newcastle United manager following his appointment earlier this summer.
The former Manchester United defender replaces Rafael Benitez at Newcastle United ahead of the new season after the Spanish tactician left the club at the end of June.
Rafael Benitez left Newcastle United at the end of his contract last month after three years with the Magpies.
One of the early challenges for Steve Bruce at Newcastle United was keeping Sean Longstaff at the club despite the serious interest from fellow Premier League club Manchester United.
The Red Devils want to sign a new midfielder this summer and young Magpies midfielder Longstaff is at the top of the list of transfer targets.
Newcastle United have slapped a £50m asking price on Longstaff to ward off the interest from former Premier League champions Manchester United.
Man Utd Want 50-goal Striker As Lukaku Replacement
Premier League giants Manchester United are reportedly eyeing a move for RB Leipzig striker Timo Werner ahead of the new season billed to start in the next few weeks.
According to the Daily Star, Timo Werner could be the man to replace striker Romelu Lukaku at Manchester United.
Romelu Lukaku has been seriously linked with a move to Italian Serie A giants Inter Milan.
New Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte sees Lukaku as the man to lead the line for his team if the Nerazzurri can secure his transfer.
RB Leipzig star Timo Werner has a year left on his current deal at the German Bundesliga outfit and senior club officials have told him to make a decision on his future or risk being dumped with the reserves.
Timo Werner has scored 50 goals in 93 appearances for RB Leipzig since joining the club from fellow German side VfB Stuttgart in 2016.
Apart from Manchester United, Timo Werner has also been linked with reigning European champions Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku has set his sights on a move to the Italian Serie A with Inter Milan interested in him but they have not been able to reach an agreement with the Red Devils for his transfer.
AS Roma Sign Arsenal Target On Loan
Italian Serie A giants AS Roma have completed the signing of midfielder Jordan Veretout from fellow top flight side Fiorentina.
French midfielder Veretout has joined AS Roma on loan with the obligation to sign him permanently at the end of his loan spell.
His transfer was confirmed on Saturday by AS Roma.
Jordan Veretout was linked with several clubs this summer before settling for AS Roma who recently appointed Paulo Sousa as their manager.
The Italian capital club was without a manager until his appointment.
Experienced manager Claudio Ranieri took charge of the team earlier this year (March) on a temporary basis till this summer.
The last permanent manager Eusebio Di Francesco resigned from his post in March shortly after the last 16 exit from the Champions League.
AS Roma were knocked out by Portuguese Super League giants FC Porto.
The Italians will pay €16m for Veretout next summer after the end of his one-year loan deal.
Arsenal were one of the clubs interested in him as a possible replacement for Aaron Ramsey who has signed for Italian champions Juventus.
The Gunners are still a body short in midfield after the free transfer exit at the end of his Arsenal contract.
Man Utd Reject €60m Bid For Star Player
Fallen Premier League giants Manchester United have reportedly turned down a big bid from Inter Milan for star striker Romelu Lukaku.
According to Sky Sports, Manchester United have rejected a €60m (£53m) bid for Lukaku from Inter Milan.
The Inter Milan bid for Lukaku was deemed too small by Manchester United who are keen to recoup the money spent on the Belgian international two years ago.
Romelu Lukaku became the second most expensive signing in the history of Manchester United after they paid £75m to sign him from fellow Premier League side Everton in 2017.
Only his pal Paul Pogba has been involved in a more expensive transfer after Manchester United paid £89m for him to return to the club a year earlier before the Lukaku transfer.
Since his transfer to Manchester United, Romelu Lukaku has scored more than any other player at the club.
The 26-year-old scored 27 goals in all competitions in his debut campaign as a Manchester United player during the 2017/18 season.
No other Manchester United player scored more during that campaign.
Romelu Lukaku then went on to score 15 goals for the Red Devils in all competitions last season which was just his second campaign as a Manchester United player.
Man Utd Midfield Target Eyeing Club-record Move To Spurs
Real Betis midfielder Giovanni Lo Celso will tell the club to let him leave for Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
According to the publication from TeamTalk, the Argentine international midfielder has set his sights on a move to the Premier League.
The 23-year-old is keen to link up with compatriot Mauricio Pochettino at Tottenham Hotspur this summer.
The Manchester United target is presently on holiday after representing Argentina at the just concluded COPA America tournament in Brazil.
Lo Celso and Argentina finished the tournament as the third best team behind runners-up Peru and champions cum hosts Brazil.
The aforementioned publication said that Spurs are ready to spend a Club-record transfer fee of €70m on Giovanni Lo Celso.
It was also revealed that Real Betis would be more than happy to accept the said offer from Spurs despite the fact that he has a release clause of €100m in his current deal with the Spanish La Liga club.
Any Spurs’ move for Giovanni Lo Celso is dependent on the transfer of Lyon midfielder Nabil Fekir to Real Betis.
The Spanish club has already agreed on a €30m deal for Nabil Fekir who has just one year left on his Lyon contract at the moment.
Official Man Utd Bid Expected For Bruno Fernandes This Week
Premier League giants Manchester United will make a bid for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes this week according to the player’s agent.
The incoming bid was revealed by popular journalist Duncan Castles via Transfer Window podcast.
According to him, the agent has informed Sporting Lisbon that they should expect a bid from Manchester United for his client.
Bruno Fernandes has been linked with a move to Manchester United for the majority of this summer’s transfer window and a transfer is still a long way from reality due to the high demands from Sporting Lisbon for their player.
The Portuguese international midfielder has a release clause of £88m in his current deal at Sporting Lisbon though recent reports claimed that the club will be more than happy to let him leave for £70m.
The 24-year-old is a top priority for Manchester United in their quest to sign a midfield replacement for Ander Herrera who left the club this summer to join French Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint Germain (PSG).
Sporting Lisbon had a good season in the last campaign and Bruno Fernandes was at the heart of it.
The club ended the season with the Portuguese Cup title after the penalty shootout win over rivals FC Porto.
