Italian champions Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey on a free transfer next summer when his contract ends with the Premier League giants.
According to a report from the Daily Mail, the Italian Serie A giants are ready to reach an agreement for his free transfer as early as January.
Ramsey, 27, can start speaking about a free transfer move with foreign clubs as from the New Year.
His current Arsenal contract is expected to end next summer and the Welsh international star is free to start talking about potential transfer moves to clubs outside England when he has six months left to run on his deal.
Arsenal and his representatives had met on several occasions to discuss a new contract but both parties failed to reach a positive conclusion and that prompted the withdrawal of the club’s contract offer.
Despite the attention surrounding his contract saga at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal and Aaron Ramsey have continued to do an efficient job on the field of play.
The Gunners have won their last nine games in all competitions, including six straight league victories.
The last Premier League win was a 5-1 away victory over London rivals Fulham with Ramsey scoring one of the goals just some seconds after coming on as a substitute.
