Liverpool defender Dejan Lovren has praised his teammates who are currently in the England national team.
Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez were all called up for the national team assignment.
The English national team is expected to play Croatia in the UEFA Nations League and the Liverpool defender is eager to play against his English teammates.
Lovren is of the belief that the English side have got a great team and with his Liverpool team-mates, they can dominate for the next ten years coming under manager Gareth Southgate.
He, therefore, stated that the encounter between his Croatia side and England will be difficult to call because his team have lost three players to retirement after the World Cup.
The likes of striker Mario Mandzukic, defender Vedran Corlika and Keeper Danijel Subasic will no longer be seen in the Croatian national team as they have decided to hang their boots for national team football.
Lovren noted that the Croatian national team now has new generation players who will mix up with older players like Luka Modric and Rakitic, hence there will be a need for blend within the team before it can return to the level they were at the World up.
Croatia had reached the finals of the 2018 World Cup in Russia but were denied the trophy by France who were the better team.
