Manchester United striker, Romelu Lukaku has admitted that there is a big relieve at the Old Trafford after the win against Newcastle.

United had stunned an unbelievable comeback from two goals down to win 3-2 at the end of the day with goals from Juan Mata, Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial.

Before the win, there was high tension in the team’s dressing room following reports that Mourinho was given the Newcastle game as an ultimatum to win or get sacked.

There was also palpable division in the dressing room with reports that some of the players have backed the manager while others take side with the French midfielder Paul Pogba who was alleged to be at loggerhead with the Portuguese manager.

With the news that Mourinho will not be sacked which adds to the win, there is an expectation that calm has returned and that has been confirmed by the Belgium international.

Lukaku said he can now return to his national side with a cool feeling as a result of the win following weeks of moody dressing room.

He, therefore, stated that despite the win, United are not where they want to be but hopes he returns from the international break to see off the next Premier League game against Chelsea, which poses to be a difficult one.
