Manchester United defender Luke Shaw has revealed the catalyst behind the Red Devils’ amazing comeback against Newcastle United in their Premier League clash at Old Trafford on Saturday night.

The Old Trafford outfit came from two goals down to secure a big win courtesy three goals in the last twenty minutes.

After the match, England international left back Luke Shaw spoke about the victory as he revealed that strong words were exchanged in the dressing room at halftime and that propelled the team to an important win.

Manchester United came into the game on the back of a four-match winless run in all competitions and things went from bad to worse for the home side in the first ten minutes.

Brazilian winger Kenedy shot the Magpies into a seventh-minute lead before Japanese international striker Yoshinori Muto added a second goal three minutes later to give Newcastle United an unexpected 2-0 lead.

Rafael Benitez’s team could have added to their first-half advantage if not for woeful finishing on their part.

They paid dearly for their lack of ruthlessness after the Red Devils produced a big second-half performance to overturn the deficit.

Substitute Juan Mata came on as an 18th-minute substitute for Eric Bailly and it was his quality that dragged Manchester United back into the game.

The Spaniard scored a 70th-minute freekick to halve the deficit before Anthony Martial scored an equaliser six minutes later.

Substitute Alexis Sanchez then scored a last minute header to give Manchester United the three points on offer.
