Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been in football management for a while, participating in various competitions but he has a major reason why he is in it.
The Red boss gave this revelation when he disclosed his interaction with Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri after the 1-1 draw last weekend.
Klopp had met Sarri’s team on two occasions within few days and his side was eliminated at the Carabao Cup at Anfield but went ahead to steal a point days later at the Stamford Bridge in the Premier League clash.
After the 1-1 draw, Klopp confessed to have had a brief chat with Sarri where the Italian had asked him if he enjoyed the game.
The German manager had replied by stating that football is entertaining and must be very good.
He noted that in football, you don’t save lives, you don’t plant anything and you create nothing but only to enjoy the game.
He maintained that he is only in football to entertain because that is what the games do aside from the fact that it allows for competition.
It has been a difficult period for the Reds as their busy fixtures continue this Sunday against Manchester City at the Anfield.
