Arsenal Striker Makes Six Man Shortlist For Premier League Award

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has been named on the list of nominees for the Premier League player of the month award for September.
The former Lyon star was part of the six-man list for the award as revealed earlier on Friday.
The French international player is joined on the list by Chelsea forward Eden Hazard, Wolverhampton Wanderers centre-back Willy Boly, Everton playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson, Manchester City winger Raheem Sterling and new Leicester City signing James Maddison.
Alexandre Lacazette started the month of September with a goal in the Gunners’ 3-2 victory over newly promoted outfit Cardiff City.
Lacazette scored the winning goal in the last ten minutes to secure a first away win of the season for Arsenal.
He provided an assist for Ozil in the next league game, a 2-1 away win over struggling Newcastle United.
Ozil’s goal turned out to be the winning goal as the Gunners recorded a third successive victory.
Alexandre Lacazette scored his second league goal of the season as he opened the scoring to help his team to a 2-0 win over Everton at the Emirates Stadium.
He went on to provide an assist in the last league game, a 2-0 London Derby win over Watford at home.
