Manchester United forward Alexis Sanchez has held showdown talks with his agent Fernando Felicevich over his Old Trafford career.
Sanchez, 29, has had a disappointing spell at Manchester United since he moved to the club in a swap deal in January.
The former Barcelona and Udinese player signed for the Red Devils from Arsenal during this year’s winter transfer market with Armenian international playmaker Henrikh Mkhitaryan moving in the other direction.
He signed a four-and-a-half year contract until the end of the 2021/22 season with weekly wages of around £500,000.
Alexis Sanchez has, however, not lived up to his expensive price tag with his performances at Manchester United.
He has scored just three goals in 24 appearances since his move in January and was recently dropped from the Manchester United squad for the last league game at the London Stadium against West Ham United.
The Hammers won the game 3-1 to hand the Red Devils a third defeat in seven games.
The Chilean international star returned into the starting lineup for the home Champions League clash against Spanish La Liga outfit Valencia but failed to impress.
Sanchez only lasted for 76 minutes before he was replaced by Anthony Martial as Manchester United extended their winless run to four games with a goalless draw against their Spanish opponents.
