The first half of Liverpool’s Champions League game against Napoli in Italy has created the fear that the Merseyside club will be short of one player for the weekend clash.
Liverpool will welcome league leaders Manchester City to the Anfield in what will be a supremacy battle for who tops the group.
Liverpool star player Naby Keita was made to leave the pitch in the first half of the Champions League game on Wednesday with the player complaining of back pain.
It was later confirmed that the Reds midfielder had spent the night in the hospital where he had received some precautionary health checks to access his condition.
This would probably be a good news to the City’s fans and camp who would have thought that the strength of their Sunday visitors have been reduced ahead of the encounter.
However, there is a bad news for them as Keita has been declared fit and could be lined up for the must-win game.
The Reds on Thursday confirmed that the player is now back to normal and feeling good, adding that he will be considered for selection.
The winner of the game will be definitely top the league table convincingly.
