French football legend Zinedine Zidane is reportedly keen on a return to Italy with former club Juventus rather than Jose Mourinho’s job at Manchester United.

According to the report from Le Parisien, Zidane is only interested in a return to Italy as Juventus manager.

The 1998 World Cup winner has repeatedly been linked with the Manchester United job after the Red Devils’ poor start to the season.

Zinedine Zidane won the Champions League title in 1996 while he was a Juventus and is regarded as a hero by Old Lady fans.

He shares a strong bond with the club and is ready to return as manager.

Italian tactician Maximiliano Allegri is presently in charge of the Italian Serie A champions.

Allegri previously led the club to both the 2015 and 2017 Champions League finals before his team lost to Barcelona and Real Madrid respectively.

He has started the season in impressive fashion after leading Juventus to eight straight wins (seven league wins + one Champions League victory).

Zinedine Zidane might probably have to wait his turn for the Juventus job.

His last job was at Real Madrid where he led the Spanish capital club to three successive Champions League titles (2016-2018) in addition to 2016/17 Spanish La Liga season.

Zidane was in charge when Real Madrid thrashed Juventus 4-1 during the 2017 Champions League final.
