Manchester United Target Signs New Deal

Manchester United transfer target Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has signed a new deal at his club to all but end speculation about a move to Old Trafford.
The Lazio midfielder was linked with a multi-million pound move to Manchester United throughout this summer’s transfer window but Milinkovic-Savic decided to stay with his Italian capital club.
Apart from Manchester United, the 23-year-old was also linked with a move to the Spanish capital with European champions Real Madrid.
Milinkovic-Savic has now ended doubts about his future by putting pen to paper on a contract extension until 2023.
The news of his contract was confirmed by Lazio earlier on Monday alongside that of teammate Ciro Immobile, who has signed a new five-year contract with the Stadio Olimpico outfit.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic had an impressive season for Lazio in both the Italian Serie A and the Europa League competitions in the last campaign.
He took the form to this summer’s FIFA World Cup tournament in Russia but was unable to save his Serbia side from crashing out of the group stage.
Without summer transfer targets like Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Manchester United have endured a bad start to the season with the Red Devils currently 10th on the league table following Saturday’s 3-1 loss to West Ham United.
