Chelsea welcome Liverpool to Stamford Bridge earlier today but they were unable to make it two wins over the Reds in seven days.
The Stamford Bridge outfits defeated their Premier League rivals on Wednesday but they couldn’t repeat such feat as they settled for a share of spoils after 90 minutes of action.
Here is how we rate every Chelsea player’s performance during the encounter :
The young goalkeeper didn’t have much to do in the opening 45 minutes of the game. He was called into action by Sadio Mane in the 60th minute and he was up to the task. 7/10
The Spaniard had a very much improved performance compared to midweek. He was quite nervous at some point but he grew into the game as it progresses. 6/10
Having rested on Wednesday due to injury, the German returned to starting lineup and he showed his quality at the heart of the defense.
He made an excellent interception to block Salah’s goal-bound effort in the second half. 7/10
Made a mistake in the first half of the game when he passed to Mo Salah, luckily, the Egyptian couldn’t capitalize on it.
Apart from the misplaced pass, the player had a decent outing against the Reds. Created great understanding with Rudiger as the game progress. He equally made some attack-initiating passes to his teammates. 8/10
Not the best of games for the Spaniard who couldn’t join the attack like he usually does in most games. He was awesome defensively and played a great part in stopping the opponents from scoring many goals. 7/10.
