Manchester United have been dealt a huge blow following the news that West Ham United star forward Marko Arnautovic has been passed fit for their Premier League clash at the Olympic Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
West Ham United and Manchester United face off in what’s the first game of Matchday 7 clashes and Arnautovic is expected to feature for the Hammers according to manager Mauricio Pellegrini.
According to the Chilean tactician, the Austrian international star returned to full training on Wednesday ahead of the game.
Arnautovic sustained the injury while scoring against Everton to help his side secure their first Premier League win of the season.
He netted the third goal to wrap up a 3-1 victory at Everton penultimate weekend.
The injury forced him to miss last weekend’s goalless draw at home to London rivals Chelsea as well as the Carabao Cup third round clash against League Two side Macclesfield Town on Wednesday night.
In his absence, West Ham thrashed their opponents 8-0 at the London Stadium to secure a fourth-round place in the competition.
Marko Arnautovic has become a key player for his East London club since he moved from Championship side Stoke City last summer.
He’s presently the club’s leading scorer in the Premier League with three goals in five appearances.
