North London giants Arsenal could lose star man Aaron Ramsey for free next year after Italian giants Juventus emerged as favourites to sign him.
The Arsenal fans’ favourite is currently in a contract standoff with the club.
He has less than a year left on his contract at the Emirates Stadium and could start to talk to foreign clubs as from the 1st of January.
According to the report from Italian media outlet calciomercato, the Welsh international star has been offered to the Old Lady but the Serie A champions want to wait till the summer when they can get him for free rather than part with a transfer sum in January.
Arsenal and Aaron Ramsey have been in contract talks for the better part of the last six months but there’s no resolution in sight meaning that the club could lose him for free next summer.
Former Arsenal stars like Alexis Sanchez, Robin Van Persie and Samir Nasri were also involved in a contract standoff with Arsenal before they moved away from the club.
Since joining the club from newly promoted Premier League club Cardiff City in 2008, Aaron Ramsey has become a key performer.
One of his major contributions in an Arsenal shirt was when he scored the winning goal to help the Gunners end a nine-year trophy drought via a 3-2 comeback win over Hull City in the 2014 FA Cup final.
