Manchester United had a great game against Swiss Champions Young Boys last night as they thrashed their opponents 3-0. The players were all awesome throughout the encounter but one player was exceptional and that’s Paul Pogba.
The Frenchman was lively for the Red Devils as he seamlessly passes through the Young Boys’ defense to score the first goal of the night.
He also converted the second goal of the night from the spot before assisting his countryman Anthony Martial for the third goal of the game.
Pogba’s display during the encounter got the attention of former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand, who works as a pundit with BT SPORT.
Ferdinand praised the player for his trademark passes and his perfect eye for goal.
He also praised him for the way he found his way past four defenders before slotting a left-footed shot to the bottom corner to give the Red Devils their much-deserved lead.
According to him, Pogba is an ideal playmaker who can cause havoc to any defenders whenever he’s in great form.
He admits the 25-year-old has got huge talents coming out of his pores but his teammates need to get the best out of him during matches.
“He played forward and followed his pass. This boy has got talent coming out of every pore.” said the BT Sports pundit
United are on top of their group with three points, closely followed by Juventus, who are equally on three points after defeating Valencia by a two-goal margin.
Valencia and Young Boys currently occupy the third and fourth position respectively having lost their first game of the competition to the two European powerhouses.
