Chelsea have endured a winning start to the season and he’s looking to continue this form in the encounter with Greek side PAOK this evening.

David Luiz who signed a two-year contract with the Blues is keen on winning the Europa league title; he believes that the Europa league is not just the second-ranked title in Europe but also a trophy that he wants to win.

Luiz was latent in Antonio Conte’s squad after helping the Italians win his first Premier League title in his first year in England.

However, he now sees himself as a crux option in Maurizio Sarri’s team and proven 4:3:3 style, securing 100% victory in the Premier League.

The Brazilian will be rested against PAOK while former captain Garry Cahill his poised to take his place before travelling to WestHam on Sunday.

Luiz stated that he will still keep the Europa League in mind and as long as they are in the competition, every game is important.

“It doesn’t matter the name of the competition, we play for Chelsea, a big club. We will always be under pressure to win every single game, every single competition”

Luiz was very conservative with his words when asked about Alvaro Morata’s form compared to Fernando Torres’ misfiring in 2013 Europa League.

“I don’t think there is a problem with Alvaro. He is a great player. I was happy that he came back to the squad with Spain.”

However, the Brazilian believes both Morata and Giroud will be at their best when they continue to play Sarri.
