Mesut Ozil is beginning to get back his impressive form after a turbulent period in his career.

The 29-year-old failed to score a goal at the Russia 2018 World Cup as Germany crashed out of the tournament at the group stage for the first time in their history.

At club football, the former Real Madrid started the campaign on a worst possible way and he was replaced in the second half of their season opener against Manchester City.

However, the playmaker returned to blistering form against Cardiff, where he helped the Gunners to their second victory of the season before the international break.

Ozil was awesome against Newcastle as he scored his maiden goal of the season to give the Emirates outfits their deserved victory over Rafa Benitez’s side.

His display on Saturday was applauded by fans and pundits, however, Bournemouth goalie Asmir Begovic is the latest player to sign his praise.

According to the Cherries goaltender, Ozil is a great player, a very unselfish player who loves to dash forward with the ball.

He confesses he is a fan of the player whom he sees as world-class attacking midfielder and as a player who is ready to fight for his teammates during matches.

Begovic is having a great season with the Cherries so far, the former Chelsea goalkeeper has helped his side to three wins, though, he’s yet to keep a clean sheet.
