Diogo Dalot and Luke Shaw are set to feature from the start when they tackle Swiss side Young Boys on Wednesday.
Both players were listed among the club’s travelling squad for the clash.
Dalot returned from his five weeks injury before the international break but hasn’t been given the chance to make his first competitive appearance for the Red Devils.
The young Portuguese was named in Mourinho’s squad list against Watford on Saturday but failed to get off the bench throughout the encounter.
Luke Shaw was completely left out of the squad list against the Hornets as he wasn’t fit for the game at the Vicarage road.
The England left-back has returned to full fitness and he’s set to reclaim his position in Mourinho’s team on Wednesday.
Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford are also on the lists of travelling players ahead of the clash. The Frenchman is reportedly not in a good page with the Portuguese gaffer but he could be given the chance to add to his caps on Wednesday having made the squad list.
Young Boys shouldn’t be a problem for Mourinho and his players as they are the underdogs in their group. The Red Devils should be able to win with a wide margin.
They must avoid complacency and overconfidence during their Champions League’s opening match.
