José Mourinho are set to make huge changes to his starting lineup when his team tackle Young Boys in the Champions League opener on Wednesday.

The Portuguese manager is impressed with some of his player’s performance in domestic competitions so far this campaign, but he is set to rotate his squad so as to give other players the chance to show their qualities.

How then will the Red Devils starting lineup look like? here is an insight of how Mourinho would want his starting lineup to be when they tackle the Berne outfits.

Goalkeeper

Mourinho could decide to rest David De Gea, who was lively against Watford on Saturday, while summer signing Lee Grant gets the nod to man the post against Young Boys.

Defence

Youngster Diogo Dalot, who recently returned from injury, is set to make his first appearance for the Red Devils on Wednesday.

The 19-year-old would be joined by Luke Shaw at the left-back position. Phil Jones and want-away centre-back Eric Bailly complete a four-man defence.

Midfield

Summer signing Fred is likely to return to the starting lineup for the first time in three matches. The Brazilian could partner his countryman Pereira in at the middle of the pitch.

Nemanja Matic, who was Red carded on Saturday, starts as a defensive midfielder, providing a strong shield for the back four.

Attack

Lukaku will play in his usual centre-forward position while he would be flanked by Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard.
