Federico Chiesa

Chelsea will now need to work hard to bring in the Fiorentina goal poacher Federico Chiesa after Juventus showed interest in him.

Chiesa has been really amazing with the club but pressure still lies on where he would be in the next few years even after many other clubs including Manchester United, Inter Milan and Napoli have shown interest to get his signature.

Albeit, Chelsea have once had Friendly negotiations with Fiorentina in the past after giving out Mo Salah on loan in 2014 and buying Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina, it appears that Napoli could be ahead of the Blues and other clubs because Fiorentina are willing to let go of Chiesa as part of an exchange for Aurelio De Laurentiis.

However, the Blues could be in front if big money is splashed on him.

Juventus have already made their intention known to them that they would buy the skilful forward winger for €60 million after receiving doubt about Pablo Dybala remaining in the club.

Dybala has had limited playing time with the club but, with interest from Europe club elites in his radar he could exit the Seria A giants door. From Chelsea’s point of view, Willian and Pedro are already in their 30’s, while the team as well have few young talents in the squad which means Sarri could push for something bigger than what Juventus can eventually offer to bring in the 20-year-old genius.

Do you see Chiesa as Sarri’s signing?
